Jason Swit
Co-founder & CEO
Jason Swit is a Co-Founder of nuAI, an educator of Entrepreneurship and Business Technology, and an advisor to high-growth technology startups.
Before founding nuAI in 2019, Jason co-led ExpertFile’s growth strategy, an early-stage startup at MaRS. His time spent in the fast-paced ‘Silicon Valley of the North’ fuelled his excitement to take the leap into founding his own company.
Prior to that, Jason wore two hats at Info-Tech Research Group. He lead the sales team and served on the new product development strategy committee, ITRG’s innovation team.
Previous to his work at ITRG, Jason created a role for himself at lululemon; identifying an opportunity to grow the men’s brand. Jason took the lead on strategy to improve design/function, merchandise placement, marketing/community initiatives and sales.
Jason also spent some time as the National Program Director of Hockey Night in Canada’s PlayOn, an event-based business, running street hockey tournaments across Canada. Jason lead operations and strategic partnerships, securing a Guinness World Record for the largest sports festival. He would later support the team in landing a million-dollar deal on Dragon’s Den.
And at Ernst and Young is where his professional career began. Jason served as both an accountant and a key member of the Entrepreneur of the Year committee.
Jason earned his HBA at the Ivey Business School, where he was an Academic All-Canadian athlete, with a storied career in hockey.
